The communication with Van Daalen was always difficult even if they used an intermediary. Systematically changes were either not possible or with very high cost - in my case it took a long discussion to demonstrate that a new internal design (different placement of the walls, rooms and bathrooms lead to a better, cheaper and more functional design. Many details about the house were systematically answered as according to regulation without further details - many features of the house were discovered only after delivery.
Regarding the keeping of appointments and schedule these were poor and affected by bad planning however the intermediary (TW3) surely helped in this matter.
Regarding the craftsmanship this was not very good - a good example was the placing of the thermostat that was place 2 centimeters from the boiler instead of a place where it would be measuring a significant temperature - the solution, easy and cheap had to be provided by me - revealing poor design and cratfmanship.
